A faster load

Warbirds now gets you into the sky faster. Your first visit downloads a fraction of what it used to — same game, same cockpit, a lot less waiting to get there. If you play on a phone or a spotty connection, you'll feel it most.

Less to wait for

The whole game — the flying, the world, the other planes — runs right in your browser, which means the first time you visit, your device has to fetch it all before you can take off. That download is now much smaller. We stripped out everything the game never actually uses and squeezed what's left down hard, without changing a single thing you see or feel once you're airborne.

The payoff is a quicker start. And because your browser holds onto the heavy shared pieces after the first load, bouncing between the game, the leaderboard, and this dev log doesn't make you wait again — it's already there.

Nothing changed in the cockpit

This is the good kind of update: you won't spot a difference in a single dogfight. The plane flies the same, the world looks the same, the sea and the steppe are where you left them. The only thing that changed is how long you sit staring at a loading screen before ROLL OUT — and that's now shorter. Tower online, sooner.
